Hey everyone,
I'm not dead, just very busy with nursing school.
However I've said it before and will say it again. Please pay attention to where you are submitting your content!
And please ask yourself, is this something I want to display as art or is this simply a snapshot/blog piece that belongs more to my facebook/instagram/twitter feed?.
I really hate to be such a jerk, however I want our group to have a nice gallery full of excellently curated photography, writing, art created by Southwestern US Deviants.
Please, please, please pay attention to what you're submitting! Give me your best! Not just everything!

I will not be attending as I have other plans this upcoming summer, BUT it's never too late to consider purchasing tickets to your preferred Con addiction.
Fellow deviant izaisanun (https://www.deviantart.com/izaisanun) is running a contest giving away ONE (1) SAN JAPAN 2013 GOLD PASS for the weekend of August 16th - 18th. A regular pass runs about $35, I don't think this includes tax (Texas can get really crazy about what and what doesn't get taxed).

Hey guys I'm beginning to cull inactive members from our membership rolls.
You can always rejoin, but for now if you have not submitted a deviation or never been active within the group I will remove you.

I've kicked/removed anyone who hasn't been active within the past year. If you join the group please make an effort to remain active. Once again I'll repeat that you CAN REJOIN. I have not banned anyone.
The dev submission limit has been set to 10 for EVERYONE, and please be discerning when you submit these deviations. We want the good stuff! :D
